Aravind Srinivas is the CEO and co-founder of Perplexity.AI, a Silicon Valley (San Francisco) based company that is currently challenging the AI giants such as OpenAI, DeepMind, and Google where he worked before as a research scientist. Born in India in 1994, Aravind Srinivas pursued electrical engineering at IIT Madras before earning a PhD in computer science from UC Berkeley in the USA, focusing on reinforcement learning and deep learning. In 2022, Aravind co-founded Perplexity with, Denis Yarats, Johnny Ho, and Andy Konwinski.
